Artist account data
Open Case stores artist profile details, dashboard settings, QR page content, location labels, optional GPS coordinates, public links, and Stripe connected account references.
Privacy
Data kept intentionally small.
Open Case is shaped around anonymous one-off support. Supporters do not need accounts, and payment details are handled by Stripe rather than stored by Open Case.
Supporter data
Supporters do not need Open Case accounts. Payment details are handled by Stripe. Open Case stores payment status, amount, currency, optional note, and Stripe payment references.
Location data
Artists can manually set a location label and optionally capture GPS coordinates for the public map. Artists can update or remove this information from the dashboard.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication and database infrastructure. Stripe provides payment processing, onboarding, fraud controls, and payout services.
Retention and deletion
Open Case keeps account and payment records only for as long as needed to operate the service, support artists, respond to disputes, meet tax or accounting obligations, and comply with applicable law.
